Our client based in Australia provides a broad range of insurance products to personal, business, corporate and institutional customers.
Looking to increase the speed of processing the large volume of ‘capacity to work’ forms, the client identified Intelligent Document Processing, specifically HyperScience, as a solution and tool to increase productivity, efficiency and reduce the possibility of human error. Another goal of the project was to establish robust, scalable non-production and production HyperScience environments for continual development.
An employee would spend over 15 minutes reading and scrutinizing a medical capacity form to process and send the required data downstream to be analyzed further. These forms consisted of 3 pages, totaling 15 required fields to read and process. The forms included complex medical terminology and jargon. The process consisted of automatable steps such as pulling all the data from the forms whether handwritten or typed, collating the data and sending it downstream.
